Rockin J Horse Stalls was established in Mannford, Ok in 1981 by JR, Rocky, and Keeta Gilreath. Rod Cottrell has been working with us for many years. He started out working in the plant and is now our Factory Rep. Since 1997 we've had a third generation working in the business. Billy Gilreath is plant manager, over seeing all aspects of production. We don’t try to be the biggest, we just want to produce the best product for you and your Horse.

Cox never took for granted that he would win the second year in a row, and admitted his horse was especially challenging this year. A crucial tactic was being able to adjust his methods to his particular horse. Even the judges admitted that the competition was down to the wire right until the winner was announced.

“I really had to work at it with this horse,” says Cox. “It was good for me to be able to prove that even with a tough colt, my program is solid and effective and I can get results. This event is a real education for the crowd and shows that you can be effective with horses if you’re consistent and persistent with your methods.”

“I’m just thankful and honored to be part of such a great event,” adds Cox. “I went up against some great competitors. Nobody walked away a loser. Everyone was effective and did a good job with their horses.”
